How do I reach the pots for the newer ps2 versions?

Well to adjust the pots for the newer versions, starting with version four, you have to follow the procedure for replacing the laser. This is the fastest and most convininent way. Just click on the link in the guide for instructions.

I just purchased the repair guide, but I don't see my problem?

Well our guide covers all the problems that can happen to a ps2 that has never been opened. We also cover some stuff that can occur due to common mistakes. However there is times that you might have a problem that we dont cover because not many people might get it and we dont want to confuse anyone. So if sounds like your problem go to our contact page and click on QUESTIONS. Then send us an email of your problem and someone will get back to you with a solution or suggestion.

Does your repair guide cover mod chips?

Unfortunately at this time we don't cover mod chip installation and repairs.  There are plenty of problems already that we havvent really had time to explore into modchips.

I paid for my guide yesterday and haven't received my guide yet?

If for some reason you haven't received your guide go to our contact page and emails us. Let us know your paypal email address, that is the email address the guide is sent to.  If for some reason thats not the email address you want the guide sent to, then go to your paypal account and change your primary email address to the one you want the guide sent to.

What do I need to run this program?

This is an exe program that works only on a windows pc. It will NOT work for LINUX and MAC computers.  You don't need any special programs to run it, its an application.  You should just be able to click on it and it will run.  There is no need to unzip and its not a PDF file.

How do I download and how long will my username be available?

After you received the guide by email click on the link, then cut and paste the username, make sure its put in correctly since it is case sensitive.  Then it will give you the option to either open or save.  Click on save and either save it on a 1.44mb floppy or save it on your desktop.  It will then begin to download. 

The username and password will be only available for a few days, it will then expire.  If you do not save the guide you won't access to it any more and you will have to pay again to get a new username and password.
